Beading

We make beaded sterling silver earrings, bracelets, and necklaces made of funky chunky clay, glass, vintage, and semi-precious beads. My jewelry designs, and my mom's hand at fancy wiring, makes us a great jewelry creating team. We love unusual color combinations and materials. BIG is key in our look - we make very big jewelry. Our style is a vintage palette of beads, mixed with modern wiring designs, and fun patterns.

Weaving

I weave on a handmade Patagonian Mapuche type loom. It is very portable and allows me to make beautiful warp face designs.I can also tablet card weave, and weave on a rigid heddle loom. I love creating belts, sashes, scarves, and pouches. I enjoy weaving with different fibers and textures of yarns. I have been weaving for 5 years. I thank my outstanding weaving mentor Saul Harper, for the many hours of weaving lessons, stories, and guidance in this fiber art. I have been continuing my learning by taking up an apprenticeship with local author and weaver, Linda Hendrickson, where I am learning techniques such as ply splitting, two-hole Andean pebble weave, and double faced table weaving.

Handicrafts With Recycled Materials

I love making collaged assemblages with some mixed media techniques on pop art inspired duct tape wallets, iconic bottle cap necklaces, match stick dream boxes, altoid tin shrines, deity art journals, jeweled cigar boxes, and tons of other fun stuff. Recycling rocks!
